I had quite the elaborate website. But here is what it comes down to.

I’m following Christ in modern times.

I do so because modern culture has normalized sin. I don’t think it is possible to outrun the consequences of sin. Not for individuals. Not for societies. Lucky for you and me, Christians have thought ages about living a good life. I think it is pride and hubris to disregard their ideas.

The reason for calling my pursuit Bunkerized Christianity is because modern culture is an attack on the soul. That soul needs protection from modern ideas. The soul needs a home inside you where it can flourish based on Christian ideas.

It is my hope to inspire people to reach back to old ideas to solve modern problems. I do so through my writing at Substack (click here to go to my Substack).

I’m very happy to find you here. If you want to, please support my efforts by sharing my writings on Substack or becoming a paid subscriber there (click here to become a paid subscriber).

To end, I’d like to tell you about the painting below. It hangs on my wall at home. It depicts a story from the Bible. Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den. A dangerous place with…well, you guessed it…lions. Through his faith in God, the lions let him be.

To me it shows the position we are in. Modern ideas are like lions waiting to tear our souls apart. It is through faith in Christian ideas that we may keep them at bay.
